I'm Zak. I'm a 22, Welsh graphic designer that recently graduated from university. I love being creative, I believe design can help to make a difference in the World.
I love to play video games, I love my two cats. I'm a big believer in looking after the environment and treating others how they want to be treated.
My Story
My first real taste of design was in my ninth year of school. When choosing our subjects, I chose graphic design. I remember my teacher being very supportive and very encouraging and I believe that pushed me to pursue graphic design all the way through college and then through university.
Being the only creative person in my household, it is sometimes really hard having no one who understands design that I can talk to, but my family and partner are great critics who will tell me if what I've created works or if I need to go back to the drawing board.
I've always loved to play video games. Ever since I was a child, I've loved them. Even now, at 22 years of age, I still make time to play them, I love them as a form of escapism. They have definitely influenced me as a person over the years, from the memories I've made playing with friends, to the stories I've fallen in love with. They offer a lot of inspiration for certain designs too which is a plus.
